Ann Willyard, Ph.D., Retired Professor of Hendrix College and author of Learn to Love Those Latin Names, will generously share her work with us as a workshop. 

In her “quest to strengthen collaborations between native plant enthusiasts, amateur naturalists, and academic botanists,” Dr. Willyard offers straightforward explanations for all plant lovers to understand and use the scientific names for plants. Latin names are the universal language that allows us to communicate across borders and collaborate on our green goals.
